Owner/General Manager

Lee Marcus brings a unique perspective to Ryerson Brothers Excavating, with a diverse background that combines business acumen and technical expertise. A graduate of Hope College with a degree in Political Science, Lee honed his skills in sales, managing teams and selling complex tech solutions before transitioning to construction. Now, as General Manager, Lee oversees operations with a focus on strategic growth and customer satisfaction. He is a dedicated family man, raising three sons—Luke, Nate, and James—with his wife, Lisa.

Jon M. Ryerson

Estimator/Project Manager

Jon M. Ryerson is the original founder of Ryerson Brothers Excavating and remains a vital part of the team. With decades of experience, Jon serves as an estimator, consultant, and project manager, bringing unmatched industry knowledge to every project. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, and fishing.

Jon J. Ryerson

Owner/Project Manager/Maintenance Manager

With over 25 years of industry experience, Jon J. Ryerson plays a key role in managing projects, ensuring safety, and maintaining equipment. His career includes supervising installations of septic systems, city water lines, and sewer systems for the family business, as well as 12 years as a project manager for an excavating company in Colorado. Known for his hands-on approach, Jon often operates equipment on job sites. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors.
